Ingredients and spices that need to be Make ready to make Palak Paneer:
- For boiling Palak-
- 2 cups Palak
- as required Water for boiling (2x of Palak)
- as per taste Salt to taste
- For Palak Paneer Gravy-
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 tbsp Ghee
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeera)
- 1 small piece of Cinnamon
- 1 Tej Patta/Bay Leaf
- 1 cup Onion (finely chopped)
- 1 cup Tomato (finely chopped)
- 1 cup Palak Puree
- 50 ml Milk
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- as per taste Salt
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- 1 tsp Kitchen King masala (Optional)
- 1 tsp Amchur powder
- 1/2 tsp Asafoetida (Hing)
- 50 grams Paneer (cube and roasted)
Steps to make to make Palak Paneer
- Take water for boiling and add 2 cups of Palak for boiling and Salt to taste. Just boil it for 2 minutes. Strain it off and wash it with ice-cold water.



- In a Kadhai, take 1 tbsp oil and 1/2 tbsp Ghee. Let it hot, then add Jeera (Cumin seeds), Hing (Asafoetida), Tej Patta (Bay Leaf), 1 small stick of Cinnamon. Let it sputter for a minute or two.



- Now, once it's sputter, add 1 cup finely chopped onion. Let it cook until translucent. Then add 1 cup finely chopped tomato. Let it cook until the tomatoes are soft.



- Now add the spices:- first add 1 tsp Red chilli powder, 1 tsp Coriander powder, 1 tsp Garam masala, 1 tsp Kitchen King masala, 1 tsp Amchur powder and Salt to taste.


- Now add the prepared Palak Puree and stir it well.


- Now roast the paneer in ghee or butter till it's slightly golden brown.

- Now add the roasted paneer cubes into the prepared gravy.

- Now add 50 ml Milk or cream if your gravy is thick or less. (I have added milk.)
